Located in the Fenway section of Boston, the Gardner Museum is the former home of Isabella Stewart Gardner. Built in the style of a 15th-century Venetian palace, the museum opened in 1904. Its three floors of galleries surrounding a magnificent garden courtyard. The galleries are filled with over 2500 paintings, sculpture, tapestries, furniture, and decorative arts from cultures spanning thirty centuries;
