Framingham Library Trustees Seek Applicants for Vacant Board Position
Anyone interested in filling a one-year vacancy on the Board of Trustees of the Framingham Public Library should send a letter of application to the Library by or before noon Thursday, February 9, 2012, attention of Library Chair, Ruth Winett. Applicants may also apply by email (rwinett@rcn.com). The application should include the applicant’s qualifications and reasons for wishing to become an FPL Trustee.
The Trustees will meet with the Board of Selectmen and jointly vote on applicants for the position.
The new Trustee will replace Danielle Barney, who has taken a part-time position in the Library’s Reference Department.
Board of Library Trustees
Members of the Board of Library Trustees are elected
for three-year terms. Library Trustee meetings are held in the
Main Library Trustees Room at 7 pm on the second Monday of the month
(or third Monday if the second is a holiday), September through June.
The meetings are open to the public.
